CBAM Settings

The CBAM Settings section is where data validation rules are defined for facilities and production flows.

Last updated 15 days ago

This screen allows you to validate whether the entered data complies with the defined threshold values.

At the top of the screen, the Facility field is used to select the facility to be processed. The production flows associated with the selected facility are listed below.

For each production flow, the following information is displayed:

  • Minimum ratio

  • Maximum ratio

  • Severity

  • Status

Flows without defined thresholds are shown as Not Configured, while those with defined thresholds are shown as Configured.

Threshold Definition Steps

To define thresholds, select the relevant production flow(s) and click the Configure Selected button. In the panel that opens, the settings for the selected facility and production flow are displayed.

In this panel, mass balance ratios are defined under the Mass Balance Threshold section.

  • The acceptable ratio range between total input and total output is entered in the Min Ratio and Max Ratio fields.

  • During data entry, the system evaluates whether this ratio falls within the defined limits.

The Severity field determines how this control is evaluated within the system:

  • Info: Informational notification

  • Warning: Requires attention

  • Critical: Critical inconsistency

Result and Usage

Once the settings are saved, the threshold definition becomes active for the selected production flow. From this point onward, entered data is automatically checked, and any values outside the defined thresholds are flagged by the system.

This structure ensures that data entry is not only used for calculation purposes but also as part of a validation process, enabling more reliable CBAM results.
