Performance Metrics

Performance Metrics allows you to analyze your organization’s emission intensity based on different performance indicators. This section links emission data with metrics such as turnover, number of employees, or operational hours to make trends more understandable.

Metric Selection

  • A maximum of 4 metrics can be selected at the same time.

  • Available metrics are defined in Settings → Organization Settings → Performance Metrics. Use this section to add new metrics or update existing ones with new data.

  • Metrics can be selected from the dropdown menu on the screen. Selected metrics appear as tags at the top, and users can remove them by clicking the x icon.

  • The available metrics are:

    • Number of Employees

    • Turnover

    • Produced Products/Services

    • Number of Customers

    • Shipments/Deliveries

    • Operational Hours

Time Filters

  • Analyses can be performed across different time periods: All Time, Last Year, Last Five Years.

  • Graphs are automatically updated according to the selected period.

Graphs

  • Graphs visualize emission intensity over the years based on the selected performance metrics.

  • Examples:

    • Emission Intensity by Turnover → shows the percentage change in emissions per unit of turnover over the years.

    • Emission Intensity by Number of Employees → shows the change in emissions per employee over time.

  • Graphs are interactive. When hovering over a data point, two details are displayed:

    1. Absolute value → the calculated emission intensity for the selected year (e.g., tCO₂e/USD).

    2. Percentage change → the increase or decrease compared to the previous period (%).

Data Management

  • Performance metric records can be updated directly from the tables.

  • By clicking the edit button (✎ icon) on the top-right of each graph, a panel opens on the right side of the screen.

  • From this panel, new yearly values can be added, and existing data can be updated or deleted.

  • Using the + Add Data option, additional years can be entered.

  • Once changes are saved, the graphs and tables are automatically refreshed.
