Creating a Report with AI

Carbondeck provides an AI-powered report creation feature to accelerate and standardize the reporting process. With this feature, users can automatically complete most report setup steps.

The AI-assisted report creation process can be initiated in two ways:

  • By entering a free-text prompt, or

  • By proceeding with AI-recommended templates

When AI-assisted report creation is selected, the system automatically populates the following fields:
report type, report language, facility selection, date range, standard (GHG / ISO / Source-Based), scopes (Scope 1, 2, 3 and subcategories), and the About the Report section.
Fields marked with “Fill with AI” can be generated with a single click.

If the option to share the report via email is selected, the “Generate email content” button allows the email subject and message to be automatically created by AI, further streamlining the sharing process.

Reports created with AI are fully editable. Before or during the creation process, users can manually update:

  • Report language (e.g. English → Turkish)

  • Selected facilities

  • Date range

  • Scopes and subcategories

  • About the Report and Description fields

Once the report creation process is completed, the report appears in the Report List with the status “Preparing” and shortly transitions to “Ready to Download.”
If email sharing is enabled, the report is automatically sent to the selected recipients.

Editing and Deleting Reports

Emission data within created reports cannot be modified; however, the following fields can be edited:

  • Report name

  • About the company

  • About the report

  • Report language

  • Description

To delete a report, select Delete from the report’s action menu and confirm the action.
