Emission Managment
Last updated 19 days ago
The Emission Management module serves as the central hub for the emission calculation process within Carbondeck. It enables organizations to review incoming data, perform emission calculations, and monitor results in a structured and consolidated manner.
The Emission Management module consists of two main sections:
Data Inventory is the area where data imported through AI Data Upload and Integration methods is collected, reviewed, and managed. In this module, uploaded data is checked, validated, and prepared for emission calculations. Activity data that has not yet been calculated or is pending calculation is managed through the Data Inventory.
Results is the section where all calculated emission values are displayed, regardless of the data entry method used, including manual entry, standard upload, AI-powered upload, and integrations. This section contains only finalized emission calculation outputs.
Emission results can be analyzed by Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3, and further examined at the sub-category level within each scope. This structure allows users to review:
The underlying activity data (consumption, spend, transport, etc.),
The calculated emission results (tCO₂e),
The applied calculation method (activity-based or spend-based),
The associated facility, date range, and emission source used in the calculation.
Through this comprehensive structure, the Emission Management module provides a transparent, traceable, and comparable view of emissions, from raw activity data to calculated results, across scopes and sub-categories.
