Reduction Plans

Last updated 19 days ago

The Reduction Plans section provides a holistic framework designed to help organizations define, develop, and monitor their carbon reduction roadmap. This section consists of several core modules, each supporting a different stage of the sustainability strategy and working together in an integrated way.

Reduction Recommendations

This module presents AI-generated reduction recommendations. Reduction potential is analyzed across each scope and sub-category. Users can review recommendations, request alternatives, save selected items as favorites, and mark them based on their applicability.

Reduction Targets

The Reduction Targets module enables organizations to define emission reduction targets and track progress against these targets over time. Targets are monitored through annual visualizations, allowing strategic reduction plans to be translated into measurable and trackable goals.

RECs – Renewable Energy Certificates

Through this module, organizations can upload and manage certificates that verify renewable energy consumption and associate them with annual energy use. REC management makes renewable energy contributions visible and forms a key component of the overall emission reduction strategy.

Offset

The Offset module supports the compensation of remaining emissions that cannot be eliminated through reduction actions or renewable energy use. Within this module, carbon offset projects can be recorded and linked to specific reporting years. Offset usage serves as a complementary mechanism to support organizations in progressing toward net emission goals.

Together, reduction recommendations, targets, renewable energy certificates, and offset practices provide organizations with a clear and structured sustainability roadmap:
where reductions can be made → which targets should be set → how renewable energy use and offset mechanisms should support these targets.
